3-D Design
Over the course of this school year we will be exploring many of the different possibilities involved in the making of three-dimensional artwork. 3-D refers to any work of art that sculptural in nature. Painting and drawing are flat while sculpture has shape and form. Students will explore many different mediums which may or may not include:
- Jewelry design: Polymer clay, wire - copper and brass sheet metal, beads, soldering metal
- Paper Mache - Altered Book Sculptures - Art using recycled materials (cardboard) - Plaster Sculpture - Clay - 3-D Collage - Cardboard/Paper Sculpture - Shoe Sculpture |
Supplies Needed for Class:A pencil Box
1-2 Rolls of Masking Tape 5 Snack or Sandwich size Ziplock bags 1 or 2 Black Sharpie Markers Small rag for cleaning Metal 3-4 Gallon size Zip Locks |
